Just incredible.

He’s looking directly down at lo celso. It’s the most blatant red I’ve seen in a while tbh. You could argue he’s trying to just stamp on his shoulder, and accidentally catches him in the face too, but that move was 100% intentional, and a red all day for me. How var doesn’t have the ref look at it is insane.

If anything comes from it stuff like that can light fires under teams moving forward. Guarantee Mason plays this clip again during film session

I couldn't understand how he wasn't sent off. Even the announcers were trying to hold their tongues about the refereeing it seemed. Guys get sent off for barely stepping on hands and he cleats him across the face and gets nothing.

That was the most egregious move I’ve seen since Nigel de Jong karate kicked a Spaniard in the chest in the 2010 WC Final.

And even that piece of shite only got a yellow somehow. Soccer refs are shite.

And this wasn’t even a foul

You would think the bottom team would get more shite from refs

Mason has 100% taken himself out of the job now

Thought if he could get us to Top 4 Levy might’ve given him at least an interview

At this point I'm just hoping that the new manager has already been picked out and they're just waiting for the end of the season to announce it.

A new manager isn’t going to make a difference - I’m 100% convinced of that. This team needs a massive overhaul, and we all know that Levy isn’t willing to spend anything close to what would be necessary.

I'm very curious as to how the combination of Hojbjerg and Skipp will be used next year.

Mason must despise Ndombele.

He’ll fetch a decent fee if the new manager doesn’t like him either

Ndombele is so talented I hope we get a manager that can get the best out of him. He has to be lazy in training or have a poor attitude I don’t know why else these managers keep dropping him from the team.

Top 6 is back in our control let’s fricking finish strong, get Europa and finish above those counts again

Welp, this ain’t great if true.

I believe he’s under contract until 2024, but I’m not sure if he has certain release clauses that actually give him leverage, or if Levy has all the leverage. I will be pretty disappointed if Levy sells to an English club no matter how much Kane wants to stay in the league. If he wants to leave It should be to another league. Will be a tricky situation to navigate because of all the goodwill Kane rightfully has built at the club, but selling to direct competitors just seems stupid.

The only move I would be able to somewhat stomach would be to city. Selling to a direct rival like Chelsea seems like a non-starter. United aren’t really any closer to winning the league than we are. A healthy Liverpool & City are still a cut above everyone else. So if he went to United that would piss me off.

Once he’s gone though we really are going to turn into Everton & Arsenal, or worse. I can’t see Levy or useless Hitchen spending that money any other way than continuing to buy bargain basement 10-20m “talents” hoping one sticks. I expect a lot more Clarkes & Bergwijns.

Also, if Kane goes then I think we should sell Son as well. As much as I love Son I think his production will take a huge hit if Harry leaves.

For what it's worth, Aladair Gold has come out and said that while Kane is frustrated, he hasn't informed the club of a desire to leave.

With that being said, if Spurs are to sell Kane, this would probably be the year to do it. Can still fetch a fat transfer fee, plus you can bring in a new manager who can go and get who he wants to re-build the team.

I saw some comments from him over the weekend that states pretty much the same. What has my worries now is that the big networks are actually reporting it as more than just rumor. Then again European transfer business/rumors are just insane.

I just worry how much this will kill interest now from certain managers without Harry Kane. Then again all the rumors are suggesting such low level candidates they would just be happy to have the job.

NBC Sports confirming it as well

quote:

Here are more details from our partners at Sky on the current situation: “Harry Kane has again told Tottenham he wants to leave this summer. Spurs are now making enquiries about replacement centre-forwards, in the first indication that the club are willing to consider the feelings of their 27-year-old talisman. “They do not want to sell their prized asset, but Manchester United, Manchester City and Chelsea have all been in touch with Kane’s representatives CK66 expressing a desire to sign the England international.”

quote:

City are also perhaps the only club who can afford him, as Kane has three years left on his current contract and you have to think that Spurs will ask for well over $150 million the heart and soul of their team.

$150 million would be a pretty damn good haul if he has to go. This would be more than enough to go after Skriniar, Sabitzer, and keep Vinicius to pair with Son & Bale
