AD and Lebron looked way off tonight. They lost the game in the 4th quarter with bad decision making. On the final play, they were down two and AD was posted up on Buddy, Lebron ended up taking a three.

I think they will continue to lose and probably have to win a play-in game. Like you said, anything can happen in one game. The Lakers misfortune and bad play is what's been making me smile in these tough times for the Pels.

I think the good news is in games AD played, but Lebron didn’t, the Lakers went like 1-4 and it wasn’t because they were playing juggernauts.

Once Lebron retires, if they don’t fill his void, a team led by AD isn’t going anywhere.

I agree and I think Lebron won't do well on his own either. Better than AD on his own, but still not good. Lebrons body isn't as durable as it was. Father time is catching up quick it seems.

They're both injury prone, if one goes down like this year, but early in the season, we could end up with a top 10 pick.

mgmt must be very worried.

stan did not inspire-instill defensive intensity.

aside from the growing pains on offense of hayes and naw and kira, jj lost his fight with father time.

but the defense is not inspired.

and bledsoe's play is weird.

The NBA offseason for us has been more exciting than the season itself, so you're not off base here in your assessment of the current mood of the fans.

A miracle bigger than two generational talents falling into your lap?

With most other teams in the Association I’d agree. Feel like whoever plays the Lakers in the Play-In would have their best player in early foul trouble or some shite

ideally lakers are in 7 v 8 game. they lose.
then they lose to the 9 v 10 winner.

Brooks is very arguably the 2nd best QB in Saints team history

Do you even follow the Saints? Ever hear of Archie Manning ?

Archie is why I said arguably. I didn’t get the privilege of watching Archie. All I have are his stats and team record and both arent too impressive for Archie. It’s hard to compare players across eras though. I also think the ownership groups were different.

Hebert is in the mix too, but he had a stacked team around him and still never won. To be fair to him, that was the Montana era.

Brooks gets the nod for me though, because his best was really good and he provided our first playoff win. His bad was also very bad, but I think he got done in by a shoulder injury more than anything. Before that, he was a very solid qb overall.

Aaron Brooks was like a Kyrie Irving in that he was just weird and definitely was not a leader. In the NBA, you can be successful if you are talented but not a leader, but in the NFL, it's almost impossible for a successful QB to be anything other than a great leader.

Aaron Brooks was a talented QB. He was never a good QB.

This has been one of the more annoying seasons I can recall. Even more annoying the AD trade request year because of the inconsistency and talent we have.

Not even close to as bad for me. AD trade request year was as miserable as it gets. I get frustrated with this team but for the most part I enjoy watching them even on nights we lose. If anything, I at least get to marvel at Zion on a nightly basis.

Also, I legitimately hate/hated AD. Having to watch that nutsack sit on the bench and cameras constantly showing him smile and laugh when I seriously wanted to knock his teeth out. Bledsoe is my least favorite part of this team but I don't actually hate him as a person or even as a player. I just want him gone and I'm to the point of laughing at the dumb stuff he does.

Lakers lost again tonight at home vs Toronto, even with OG and FVV out of the game for the Raps.

They are in 7th now(play-in).

The Lakers say LeBron James, who checked out with nearly seven minutes remaining in the fourth quarter, did not return against Toronto because of a sore right ankle.

This was LeBron's second game back after missing 20 consecutive games with a high ankle sprain. Same right ankle.

That does not sound good for the Lakers.

Plus their next five games are brutal.

Vs Denver, LAC, Portland, Phoenix and New York.

They could lose all five unless they make major improvements quickly. They are playing bad right now, especially AD.

I love it.

nope. the roster construction is terrible and the coaching hire to inspire a defensive culture has been a disaster. The fact that we can't decide if we're aiming for a better pick or the play in with PTAO is frustrating and not worth energy or emotion.

as fun as zion is to watch, it is tough seeing him do everything himself. Griff needs to be held accountable for how poorly the roster is constructed and there needs to be an effort made to correct that.

the players play to win.

your emotional state is independent of the reality.
after each game you want to tie your emotional state to some plan.
there is no plan about pick position.
these are not the Philadelphia process team.
these guys were expected by fan base to be in the 7 10 scrum even the last week.
heres the weird thing.
pels can still get 10th.
pels can still get in.

just enjoy the rest of the season.

marvel comics and zion.
