I have all of my electronics plugged into surge protectors, but does anyone use a UPS with their gaming setup?

Just curious if anyone has experienced data corruption due to a power outage while playing a game.

I have all my networking gear, servers, and gaming PC, on two UPS. Mostly because there's too much power going to through the circuit and it trips the breaker every now and then, so the UPS gives me time to flip the breaker back on without having a full shutdown.

I've only fully lost power once, and it gave me time to fully power down my servers so nothing happened to my raid arrays.

I don't see much use for one just on a gaming system

Appreciate the advice!

I would only be using one to ensure I could properly save my game and shutdown my PS5/Series X in the event of a random power outage. I've never used one before and it sounds like it's unnecessary since a database rebuild on a console should be able to fix any data corruption issues (outside of possible save files).

I have a UPS on my gaming rig. Not particularly worried about data corruption, but super fricking paranoid about bricking my motherboard during a bios flash

I have this guy:

ETA: It also doubles as a power draw display, which is a nice side benefit.

Yes. My PC, modem, router and primary monitor are on it.

Word of advice - if you're going to get one, don't aim for the lowest bidder.
