Saw the headline for this, but not reading that.

Was this something to do with specifically the Peloton treadmill or was it something that could happen on any treadmill?

I looked into it but read the wait time is about 5 months currently.

We went with a Pro Form instead and the damned thing has been sitting in Memphis for 5 weeks bc they’re too lazy to ship it.

Anyone have suggestions on how much to tip the delivery people . They are going to install and setup the entire thing

You inspired me, my ProForm actually got lost in Memphis during delivery and I decided to cancel the whole order due to their sheety service. I ordered the Peoloton immediately after and it’ll be here in 4 weeks. Cheers

Good deal .
Should have said this after your first post .
But the reason I bought a new treadmill to begin with is because my $5000 Nordic track tread (which is the same company as proform) which is less then 10 years old broke down .

I spent 2 years years trying to get it fixed.
Only thing wrong was a motor starter . That was only $300 dollar part back before nordic track discontinued making parts for my already discontinued 5k treadmill they offered to custom make me one for $1500 lol.

Then they said no refund if that don’t fix it .

Needless to say frick them and will never deal with those clowns again . Hopefully peloton has better CS.

Wow! Yea I got the vibe pretty quickly that ProForms customer service was awful.

In regards to Peloton’s cs, my buddy got one last year. During the installation one of the workers sliced his wrist trying to open the box. He soaked their $10k rug from pottery barn with blood. Peloton sent out serve pro to clean it which apparently they couldn’t bc it was wool, so they cut them a check to replace the rug.

“How much do I tip the Peloton delivery guy?” would be a great OT thread.

Got mine on the 17th.
Was supposed to be the 15th but they came over and the delivery company did not even bring a dolly .

Yes you heard that right .

Anyway had to wait for a reschedule which was 2 days later .

None of that was pelotons fault but they refunded me the 200+ delivery fee which is something I did not ask for .

As far as the treadmill goes I love it .

Can’t speak to the tread, but I have the bike and it’s been awesome. Had it for 18 months now. Love it.

I do the tread runs when I travel for work - which is every week. Strongly thinking of getting the actual tread.

Been having the bike for almost 2 years now and I can confirm that customer service has been top notch. I don’t think I’ll ever get the tread but if they come out with a rower, I’ll trade in mine (Men’s health model) and buy there’s probably.
