I worked on a private boat in destin for a few months before starting my full time job. My capt always recommended 100proof when people came up and asked us for recs at the doc

I used to fish offshore out of Destin a ton but started going to Port Aransas since it’s closer to home. I always fished with Jason on the Backlash in Destin because he has some awesome AJ spots but I heard it was out of commission and he was running another boat?

Offshore, we used to book strictly out of Woodies but then got hooked up with Coastal Charters because they run some bad arse cat hulls with a Capt that know his shite. However, he is doing his own thing on a private boat. It is an Invincible and we followed him over with his new gig.

I don't but I know a ton of guys that do. I pretty much stick to the Upper Coast and Hackberry if I fish inshore and only hit up Port A when we go down to fish the Houston and San Antonio Pipeliner fishing tournaments in June and October. We typically run out of Channel Marker 37 and go to Baffin/ULM/LLM or stay around AP inshore down there.
