Don’t know how that fat frick even survived covid. 1-13 to end the 4th and 7-25 for the quarter. Game after game. Still playing Bledsoe in crunch time. frick this team.

And Zion had zero energy all night.

Gundy has taken Naji out several times when he shouldn’t have in the 4th.

Naji is a baller and he’s figuring out that he deserves to be in the league. Hopefully we can keep him.

Naji played more minutes than Zion and Adams, and was 12 seconds off from the same minutes as Bledsoe.

No need to complain about his minutes, he's getting plenty.

Didn’t realize that. I think people just didn’t like that he got benched for Lonzo late when Lonzo had sucked all night and he was ice cold sitting on the bench for an hour.

It's honestly been nice to see Naji's development. He's turning into a solid player that we can really use to improve our overall defense and bench next season. I can't wait to see Naji and Hart on the court together. I expect the duo to have some magic on defense and hustle.

Zion has been playing point for the majority of games for over a month. Dang right he’s gassed. No one in a starting 5 expends as much energy as a point. We need to be more creative in getting him rolling down hill without killing him off on the perimeter. We need a point guard bad. Doesn’t look like SVG and Zo are on the same page.

I'd be shocked if Lonzo came back after this season anyway. Why are we giving Lonzo crunch-time minutes when he's completely cold, and his immediate backup is out-playing him. It was one of SVG's worst coaching jobs with the Pels, and he's had quite a few doozies.

I get it, Zo was ice cold. I thought the question was why Bledsoe was in and not Zo. Heck, why not Kira?

Kira has been a turnstile on defense lately. I think he’s lost Stan’s trust to be out there in key moments.

The team is great at times but rudderless on court. Shooters will help but it’s a point problem.

And here's your answer

quote:

SVG said he didn't close regulation with Naji Marshall because he'd played close to 12 straight minutes: "I thought Bled was defending Westbrook pretty well and doing a good job helping. But it’s certainly worth a question and possibly a criticism from you guys.”

OK, that doesn’t hold water. Bledsoe’s D wasn’t on nearly enough to give him 30+ minutes when he is not contributing consistently on the offensive end.... SVG has a Bled thing and it needed to stop a long time ago..... and I like Bled

Bledsoe was +11 tonight - not sure that really matters but it makes some sense why we went to him late.

Plus often tells you who your with on the court. 34 minutes, 2-6 from the field, 0-2 from 3 with 1 assist tells a better story. I don’t even want to pick out Bled because he wasn’t the reason for the loss.

You can’t glean much from it other than a data point unless you rewatch and analyze every possession.

If the Wizards don’t go 3 for 30 from 3pt range everyones plus/minus would have been shite.

Honestly, I don’t care how the team does. He’s letting the world know what’s important on Twitter every minute of every day...and that’s what u want in a coach. Hope they extend him.
