Mini golf weekend in Biloxi

Going to Biloxi next weekend for a friend’s birthday.
Staying at the Beau Rivage Saturday night and playing Grand Bear Sunday morning.
Any recommendations for a fun round (reasonably price) Saturday afternoon or a cool driving range in the Biloxi area?
Any tips for Grand Bear?
Thanks!

Take note of the sign when you go to the fifth hole that tells you there is a cross hazard that you can’t see from the tee. Not sure what tees you’re playing, but you can’t hit driver there. Even a 3 wood will run into it.
Here’s a flyover of the hole

This thing pisses off most first time players and then it negatively affects their impression of the course. If you just hit a good 4 iron, you’ll probably have a go at the green on your second

If you're staying at the Beau, play Fallen Oak instead. That's the one benefit of staying there.
What do you find to be "reasonably priced"?

The Oaks would be fun. Shell Landing and Windance as well.

I haven’t called Fallen Oak to see green fees, but I have been told and seen reviews saying $200+. I will call later to get exact green fee, I know it’s the best course in the state.
Grand Bear is $100 Sunday and looking for a cheaper round Saturday afternoon.

I like Windance as well. Or if you drive a little bit, one of the Diamondhead courses

I read this as you were going to Biloxi to play putt putt

Played a fair amount out there.
Fallen Oak is fantastic and makes a mean bloody mary.
Grand Bear was really good and much better than I expected.
The Preserve is very good.
Windance was just ok.
Shell Landing is pretty good but have heard conflicting reports on condition.
Is Great Southern still open? If so its cool and cheap.
The Oaks sucks.

It kicked your arse didn't it. It is a very popular course for a reason. It is fun and a challenge

Played Shell Landing Saturday morning. It’s in good shape. And close to the Beau.

Video on their website makes this course look fantastic. We are headed to Biloxi area next week and setup to play Grand Bear. Should we play this instead?

You won't be disappointed with either course
Shell is more challenging than the Bear though

Play both Shell and Grand Bear! I played Grand Bear yesterday and it was very good. Best fairways on the coast.

Yeah, make your way over to Vancleave & play The Preserve.

Can’t say as I haven’t played Grand Bear, but Shell was in pretty damn good shape Saturday. Shell’s layout was really enjoyable. Liked it a
Lot.

Question, it’s been over a decade since I played the Grand Bear, and I don’t remember those hazards. Is it relatively new?

Go to Mossy Oak/Old Waverly for best courses in Mississippi

Played ok for me, broke 80. Just felt like playing the same hole several times. Found out from some locals that it's nickname is The Jokes.
