Yet he was 5-1 last season

And Taysom was 3-1, I’m not a big fan of QB Wins as a stat.

Cool. Now do Winston.

Winston’s worst season based on quarterback rating 83.5 is better than Smith’s quarterback rating since going to Washington 82.6

Who the heck is going to want Winston for any kind of money? Nobody wanted him last year and Tampa won a super bowl directly after they got rid him which is further evidence that he’s not the right QB for a team.

Well then a team actually should pick up JW, drop him and then grab Brady for the easy Super Bowl win

He would be a great fit in the SP offense for a few years, but still need a young, long term QB. The cap may prevent any major moves this year unless there is more ML magic.

I wouldn’t mind Alex Smith as a back up, but for much less than 10 million.

No. He's not going to win us playoff games.

Really wouldn’t mind having him on the roster. Seems like a great guy and leader. That said, seems like we’d go with Jameis or Taysom.

I think we sign Jameis to a cheap one or two year deal. I think he’ll sign with us for much cheaper than anywhere else

Was that the only change between the 2019 & 2020 Bucs? I must have missed the part where Winston had a full all-star team on offense...Evans, Godwin, AB, Gronk, Brate, Jones, Fournetee. Also, Wirfs was a lot better than Dotson on the line

And, the team did not start clicking until Brady forced Arians to allow Brady to run the offense the way he wanted. In other words, Arians & Leftwich were holding Brady back from playing his best, what are the chances they were doing the same with Winston.

In no way am I trying to put Winston on the same level as Brady, but you can't just dismiss Winston as a viable QB for the Saints because Brady went to the SB the next year with his former team and not factor all of the other changes.
