Do United always get the toughest draw in every round of every cup? It's weird how the last three rounds of the FA cup have been against a top 5-6 side (Liverpool, West Ham, Leicester), had city in the League cup semis while Tottenham got Brentford, United had PSG and Leipzig in their champions league group, and now United had Sociedad who had a great start to the season coming out in first of la Liga to start, and then United follow that up with AC Milan who was first in Serie A for a long time to start this season. Every damn round United have the premier matchup/matchups in that round in every cup this year. It's kinda ridiculous. United never get the easy road to a final. It's fun to watch but it sucks when United lose and they're battling to get their first trophy with this group to learn what it feels like to play in finals/win trophies.

Just read an article about how United still want Sancho. Last year Dortmund wanted £108M which United wouldn't offer to Dortmund. Now Dortmund will take something around £88M. United have said they'll offer £50M. Lol Woodward is a fricking joke. They won't offer the money for Max Aarons, won't offer the money for Sancho, wouldn't even get into a battle for Upamecano, won't offer the clause for Kounde, and they probably won't offer what Haaland wants in contract terms and Haaland is also represented by Raiola who is a pain in United's arse so don't expect that either. So Woodward is already off to a great start to the summer transfer window. Get ready for another shite window.

Awful game. United had chances on the break though and just played shite final balls. I have no idea why Mctominay tried to cut the ball back on that counter when he had both Rashford and Dan James behind Rashford breaking into the box and not a defender in sight to stop the cross field pass to Rashford. That would've either been game or Rashford would've shot directly at Mendy like he does 80% of the time.
