Seems like the current share price of MSTR is a front run of future BTC valuation for funds and companies (i.e. Morgan Stanley) that cannot change their charter or accounting rules to buy actual BTC. MSTR price/share has far exceeded the actual BTC price gain. One would expect future MSTR price improvement to cool off and allow BTC price to catch up but there is really no telling. I didn't think we'd see $1,000 MSTR until BTC ran over $150k

Hard to say that when you have 20x-50x baggers happening on the board right now but I appreciate the comment

If this all plays out like we think it will, Michael Saylor will be the name written in textbooks for decades to come

So to get exposure to Crypto you can either buy it directly, buy stock in companies who are invested in it, like MSTR. Funds made up of these companies, MSTR and others, or funds/ETFs made up of Cryptos themselves, like Bitwise(BITW) .

Besides the high expense rate is there any reason I shouldn't go with a crypto fund like BITW? Any other similar fund to look into?

TIA

Why do you think this? Why is bitcoin going to fail unless some whales come along?

Never invest in BITW, at least not while the premium is obscene. For every share of BITW, you are paying $74.12 right now, but only buying $43.40 worth of the actual coins. There is a massive premium in that ticker right now and most people have no clue. Bitwise even tweets daily what the price vs asset value is, but people don’t research what they are buying and just pull the trigger.

GBTC premium is 8% right now- not awful like the 72% premium on BITW. Still, buying the actual coins always the best.

Yeah I see that now. Read that a little too quick. But still wondering why he thinks it still is a good investment. I just like hearing all sides. I got a small amount in bitcoin but wondering if I should insert the tip if not go balls deep.
