Does anyone have any experience with swing case boxes? Or with the generic knock off versions? I’m looking at getting one to see how I like it but not sure if the name brand is worth it.

I have the swing cases and don't have any complaints. Great for a tool bag, 4 way lug wrench, extendable lug wrench and sockets, multiple tow straps, ratchet straps, 6 ton bottle jack, tire plug kit, flashlight, and a few other small misc items.

The only issue I have is with my atv. My foreman is too wide to fit in between both toolboxes if I need to put it in back the truck instead of on my trailer. In those instances, I take one case off the mount and put it in the truck.

I want one but I ain't to hot about drilling holes in a 2020 model truck. Concept is cool through, I have a tool box and have to get in back the truck to get anything other out of it aside what's in the side trays.

I am just looking for something to help me clean up under the back seat of my truck. I’ve got miscellaneous tools, ratchet straps, etc that I want to keep in the truck but having them in a swing case would be better than in a bin underneath the seat.

I actually saw where someone installed rivet nuts where the bracket goes so the screws wouldn’t pull out. They replaced the sheet metal screws with bolts for a more secure fit and a cleaner look to boot.

We have some rat packs. They pull out drawers full of shite. Strong enough to park a decent size four-wheeler on top

I considered a swing case, but ended up buying one of these and it's done great because I can easily remove it when I need to use the full truck bed (box is on wheels). Holds more than what I need (cables, tools, clothes, tow straps etc.). I keep a 1x12 across the bed in the slots near the tailgate and that keeps it from sliding around all the time.

I've had one in the back of my ford for a few years and I really like it. Cleaned out under my seat and the tools are within close reach by the tailgate. Didn't have to drill any holes or anything like that. Just bolted it on.

Is it the undercover brand or a generic no-name?

Regarding the brand Undercover, I have their SE bed cover and have been very happy with the quality.
