The WWL resident drunk marine is the only acceptable answer.

Rarely listened but on the occasions I had to it sounded like a HS broadcast. It was such a stupid hire

I’ve had to listen while driving over the last few years - the broadcast is awful. You can listen for 10-15 minutes and have no clue on the score.

His brain & mouth couldn’t keep up with the action

No idea what WWL was thinking or who ok’d that. You can’t just roll out of bed & do PBP, and he proved that.

I think this is a underated hire wwl aside.
Very smart. Good locker room guy and leader. A long shot player who did it all the right way and earned his starters job. And a player now coach who cooked some grub in the White House kitchen.

Suck on that Tom Brady lol

because of work i had to tune in more than usual this past season and i didn't really lean one way or the other on if i liked the broadcast or not.

what did stand out was how many times the officiating was brought up and thought well I aint missing that much

I think Deuce can have his moments and Strief was like the guy you root for but he never quite nails it.

I’ve listened to many Saints players interviews over the last 15 years or so. 7th round pick. Bookend right tackle.

Strief gave lots of time. Strief gave authenticity. He was poised and PC, but also honest. Best Saints player interview, imo.

I don’t listen to radio, but what a great Saint. I’m happy that he is continuing to be a part of the organization.

Your employer is the flagship station of the Saints Radio Network.....

Now bend over and take it like a man.....weather you like it or now....as long as you keep the job you have you will always be supporting the Saints franchise every time you punch that clock

I know he's a former player and obviously qualified, but an NFL team hiring their play by play guy as a coach is still funny on its face

He is a former player that dipped his feet in the booth......he's not and never will be a play by play guy

He's an NFL veteran with a Superbowl and was coached and played with one of the best QB/HC combos for 12 years.

Dude is more than qualified to be an OL Coach
