You ever consider that Winston makes his OLines look worse by holding onto the ball too long?

Torn rotator cuff

- Plus, 11 broken ribs and a collapsed lung (which we already knew about)

This screams "time to retire" to me.

He's been injured severely the last 2 seasons. His body can't take it anymore.

When I began reading the article, I thinking the same thing, why the hell is this guy on the field. It was very easy for the Bucs to defend a very limited QB. All players want to be on the field, but this calls Payton’s coaching ability into question. The only successful deep ball was Winston’s on the trick play.

As you get deeper in the playoffs intensity goes up and windows shrink. If you can’t make all the throws it’ll catch up to you.

My grandpa was a welder for 40 years in the south LA heat and a harass tough man. A torn rotator cuff took him to his arthritic no cartilage knees. Drew wasn't throwing a football and taking hits with one. No fricking way

For what? Here is video of people in NOLA chanting "F" Drew Brees after all that he did for the city... amazing.

And here’s you and other far righters shitting on him too. Y’all have been relentless on in here with it and it’s just as pathetic and wrong as when the left did it

After all he’s done for the state of Louisiana, pathetic

She ain’t doing him favors trying to make excuses. If Sean, for whatever reason didn’t want to pull him.... he should have pulled himself. It’s sad that Sean and Drew both thought it would be nice to ruin the season when they knew he couldn’t throw it much more than 10 yards.

We were up 20-13 well into the 3rd moving the ball down their throats. The game plan was there. We don’t turn the ball over there and we win by 2-3 scores imo.

Taysom yes but Winston could have been used more to push the ball down the field.

Yep he could have put up some good INT numbers.

Like Brees?

Only Winston would be able to throw 40+ yard passes with ease to prevent TB from stacking the box

Was the torn rotator cuff in his right or left shoulder?

Brees main injury was from getting fricked in the arse by Thomas. He never recovered.

Tough yes, but if true, greedy and self serving also.

At that point he was hurting the team more than helping.

If his injuries negatively affected his play, then it was selfish for him to go on the field. He should have handed the football to whoever the 2nd string QB was.
He should have made a decision that was best for the team.
I don't know how someone throws well with a torn rotator cuff.

Did she get the Saints in trouble with the NFL?

I thought teams were required to post injuries on the NFL Injury Report every week?
