Saints 2021 Opponents
Home: CAR, ATL, TB, DAL, NYG, MIA, BUF, GB
Away: CAR, ATL, TB, PHI, WAS, NE, NYJ, SEA
SOS: 27th (Opp. Records; 120-135-1)
Opponents 2020 Total Defensive Rankings (Pass Rk/Rush Rk)
CAR: 17th (18th/18th)
ATL: 28th (32nd/7th)
TB: 7th (21st/1st)
DAL: 23rd (11th/31st)
NYG: 12th (17th/10th)
MIA: 19th (22nd/16th)
BUF: 16th (14th/20th)
GB: 8th (7th/11th)
PHI: 18th (15th/22nd)
WAS: 5th (3rd/15th)
NE: 14th (8th/26th)
NYJ: 24th (29th/12th)
SEA: 22nd (30th/5th)
Knowing this is who we get to face next year, the vaccine reaches enough that attendance can climb to 50% or higher, and assuming Drew Brees retires, now tell us what you think.
I can see us going 5-1 in Division and then 7-3 or 6-4 on the rest bringing us to a respectable 12-4 or 11-5 record

Who’s the QB though... Hill, Winston, or other?

Unless Drew is coming back, we should know his plans probably after the Super Bowl. He will not hold us hostage from making future decisions unless he plans to return.
That said, I can see us offering Winston, and using Hill as the Hybrid freak he is.
FYI, Jameis Winston should be our future, at least for now, because trading up in the draft for a QB will kill us from adding any other weapons on defense or offense that could help us in 2021.
But it seems as if the rumors place him in Washington or Indianapolis. That is, unless the Saints go after him as the next starter of a team that is Super Bowl ready.

Is Matthew Stafford(free agent) off the table? He still has a deep ball the Saints have been lacking and I’m sure he’d love to acquire our weapons.

Stafford has maybe 5 years left
Winston has 10+
No endorsing one over the other just stating the facts.

Ok I get that, but give up players and picks for Watson.... or give up nothing at all to get Stafford?
Give me Stafford if it means we keep the team together AND keep the 1st rd pick.

9-8.
If Stafford somehow ends up down here (NOT wearing #9), perhaps we go 11-6ish and make the playoffs. Perhaps with more arm strength and a perceived "lesser" QB, Payton will be aggressive with play-calling and a postseason run could be made...
