I’ve also been watching Kyle Berkshire’s course vlogs. I like watching his all around game, not just long driving.

Kyle's instagram is a must follow. He usually posts his best hole every day shot by shot with a shot tracer. He plays on a different course almost every day. Yes he hits it crazy long but he's pretty damn good at golf too in general. He says he shoots mostly 72-77 range and is only a 2 hc, which is hard to believe given how good of a ballstriker he is. His short game is not very good I guess.

Foreplay is garbage golf content

Right they only play some of the best golf courses the world can offer and document them fully in amazing quality. They do entire arse documentaries on grounds crews at major championship venues. They interview some of the best players in the world including Pat Perez, Bryson, Jack Nicklaus, and are basically best buds with Kisner and Dewey. They have a legit golf tournament that takes place all over the country that ends at fricking Pinehurst. They play scramble matches against professional golfers, former LPGA golfers, celebrities, and record those in their entirety. Please point me to anyone else that puts out that sort of content in a regular basis please, I’d love to watch it.
If you actually think their content is garbage, you’re either high as frick or your own idea of what’s good content is just garbage.

really just can’t stand anyone on the GM stuff except for the Micah dude. Their videos are a constant “guys” and “get dialed in”.
agreed, garret and his other buddies, even Micah sometimes get really annoying with just the way they talk. You gotta pick and choose which videos to watch. Their channel with Kyle Berkshire makes it much more watchable.

That is the most passionate defense of foreplay I've seen since prom senior year.

Foreplay’s only entertaining content is when they play with Kisner when he’s pounding beers.

Yea GM golf has so many members making their own videos with each other their stuff feels very repetitive and oversaturated at times. That being said they have good videos if you find the right one(I'd recommend the Sunday Matches).

If you're a new viewer though Matt can come off really annoying at times and definitely takes some getting used to, even though I've started to find him amusing the more I watch.

GMs stuff is getting pretty old and boring. You can tell he doesn’t really care about golf and is just making videos for money. Micah’s channel has a lot less gimmick golf than the others in the Good Good group and I enjoy watching his stuff along with Kyle Berkshire’s channel.

I wish Brodie Smith still golfed, he had a lot of solid content and golfed at a bunch of different courses which brought variety. Can’t believe he left that all behind for disc golf.

Golf sidekick is great stuff

He doesn’t have that amazing of a swing, doesn’t practice all the time, plays hungover and drinking half his rounds, but shoots good scores because he just macaws the course well and drills putts inside 8 feet.

Basically he’s proof that you don’t have to be an obsessive practicer or have a perfect swing to be a low handicapper

I basically watch all the Golf Sidekick videos the day they come out. They are all pretty much the same, but I just don't care. They are so relaxing. It also makes me feel like I'm going to shoot my best round the next time I play. Then,of course,I don't.

It always seems so simple in the videos. I think it's the wide angle lens that makes the fairways seem so open.

Right, they have all this access and financial backing and their content still sucks arse. It’s because the guys barstool picked to represent their golf side are extremely unlikeable. Not too mention their golf knowledge is suspect

The golf content market peaked about two years ago. It's getting oversaturated, imo. Just too much from all angles. But at the same time, a lot of the stuff that is being added is worth listening to or watching, so maybe that isn't oversaturation. Just a pull on my time to get all the content in.

As someone who runs a golf brand in this space, this is very much true. A lot of people with very few barriers of entry in the market. There's a major gap between the good stuff and the garbage. Lots of garbage.

Some good peeps to follow. Not all vlogs:
EAL - OG. He's gotten a little corporate though. Lost some of his realness to me.
NLU - High quality stuff.
Roger Steele - Up and coming. Definitely different approach. He's hilarious.
Colt Knedler - Good dude. Creative approach.
Ryan Barnett - Great photographer
Ollie Neglario - Great Photograper/guy
Kyle Walton (shooting up the list) - Good dude, good stuff.
Hafe Life - Golf work is unreal. Great shooter.

Well according to insta, they are now sponsored by Taylormade and spent a day with the likes of DJ, Morikawa, Wolff, and a few other TM players.

I’m not saying their content is great but they do have some pretty awesome access that is hard not to watch.

I like the Mark Crossfield channel. British channel. He's an actual PGA pro but not that great at the game, amazing knowlegde of golf equipment and technique though.

I like their golf vlogs with Coach Lockey and friends just out playing and goofing on each other. They play at some amazing courses all around the world under their Golf Your Travel channel ( I think that's what it's called) and they play with tour pros every once in a while.

Lee Westwood has played with them a few times and it's fun to watch them all mess with each other.

Reviving this thread because I noticed something from two separate channels. I watch Golf Sidekick regularly. In a lot of his videos, he claims to be a 4 handicap. That seems reasonable.

I just started watching a few Foreplay videos because I noticed they did a lot of things in Scottsdale, and we are planning a golf trip there later this year. Anyway, in one video, I hear Riggs say he's about a 5 handicap. I figured he was kidding. However, his latest video is of him getting a lesson. He says he's a 5 to the pro.

So, have I just happened to watch only videos where Riggs looks bad, or is Riggs full of shite?

NLU

Foreplay—-since joining Taylormade the content is better. I enjoy watching them scramble the pros.
