If it makes you feel better healthcare can never be "nationalized." The federal government doesn't have the resources nor the competency to do so and they know it or we would already have that system.

Even if it weren’t, wouldn’t a stamp or label on the actual passport make more sense than an app?

We are still so heavily influenced by the British. We’re close cousins, and we share the same language, what happens there often comes here, and vice versa.
When I read these articles, I do wonder if this is one that will jump the Atlantic.
These measures would be hugely popular in the North East. They would call them common sense.

That's my point is just going to be a version of more cost shifting. That's "doing something" and is good enough for short term points with their base. You think the same lawyers and lobbyists who brought us the ACA is going to be able to do anything besides more of the same?
