Would love this but how the hell do we get Beal on this team then?
We have 68 first round draft picks, Zo, and Bledsoe. It’s a matter of if Washington likes our offer more than others.

I mean they'd need to receive at least Lonzo, 3 first rd picks , and a few swaps. If we're willing to do that this soon into Zion's career than go for it. I still think we need to wait another year or two

Really would love Beal but to be realistic I want to find a way to offload Lonzo and Melli for a wing and then sign Ilyasova
Guys like Aminu, Okogie, Tucker (dream) come to mind
Aminu would be really interesting honestly and then sign Ilyasova
NAW / Kira
Hart / JJ
Ingram / Aminu
Zion / Ilyasova
Adams / Hayes
Interesting team and there is some identity to it

I don’t think the Beal contract is sustainable.

I know I left him off. I honestly don’t know what to do with him. Want to give Kira and NAW as much run as possible. Hart is better suited as a wing guard not 3 IMO so I want to get another big wing to spell Ingram that can space and rebound.

Spacing was amazing tonight. I wish Zion played so we could have an idea of what good spacing would do for Zion's game.

Thoughts:
1.) NAW looks like he can be a good 6th man. Good scoring off the bench which we've needed.
2.) Ingram should not be forced to be our primary playmaker too much for him.
3.) Hart shouldn't be forced to guard opponents best wing scorers. He's forced into a role he shouldn't be. He's a SG/SF defender not a SF/PF defender.
4.) Pels need a point guard who can control pace, play defense, and facilitate. It should be Lonzo, but he's frenetic, not calm with the ball. IMO if he can't be a "game manager", he doesn't need to be on the team. Stop trying to make him something he's not.
5.) Bledsoe needs to be gone. Has no fit on the team. Doesn't make our young stars better. Can't shoot, does facilitate great, and he's 31.
I agree with y'all, Pels in dire need of a 3 and D wing. Also a point guard. I like Kira, I wish I can see more of him. Just don't think it's fair to expect him to be our starting point guard at 19, 160lbs.
Also thinking about what if we kept George Hill and sent Bledsoe to OKC. Smart Vet, Great shooter, better fit, can play make. Also, he wouldn't get as many minutes asBledsoe gets, which would allow for us to see more of Kira and NAW.

Hill is 34.
A PG which control pace would be cool but there're not many players of this style in nba (CP3, Lamelo, Doncic, Simmons, Wall and some others i guess).
In all the cases, Lonzo, Bledsoe, JJ, Melli and Adams must be traded.

If you don't think any trade for a 3rd star wouldn't include NAW, you're dreaming

Hill is 34 but is also cheaper with less years and he fills a need on the team. There are many more great PGs in the league. Dame and Steph are two obvious ones. But players like Dragic, Lowry, Brogdon, etc. are good point guards who control the pace of the game. You trust them with the ball in their hands and they are effective without the ball.

Reminder: the Spurs drafted Robinson, Duncan, Parker, Ginobili, and Kawhi. Golden State drafted Steph, Klay, and Draymond.
Best way to build a dynasty is to do it through the draft, not through trades. For now, we just need to let NAW/Kira/Jaxson continue to develop.

I say his age cause i think he must be on a contender team.
Although, OKC is a bad team for him (they're building also).

Last night was honestly more of what I was hoping this season would be for this franchise before I bought into the Griffin desire to win and just went along.
Try and win games, yes, but not at the expense of developing and assessing our young guys. We need to see guys like Kira/Naw/even Lonzo get time together with Ingram/Zion and see how they all meld. Lonzo seems like he’s the odd man out, but who knows, maybe a more cohesive player and it unlocks him.
Then get another top 15 pick and hopefully acquire a 3/4 3 and D forward we can start developing ala Hunter/Reddish/Nesmith/Vassell etc.
