Ralphs in Gonzales is pretty good.

Not saying its better than Randazzos but just closer for me.

I think the one I got from rouses was the one on airline. My gf got it so not sure. But damn, it was delicious. Must’ve been fresh

Pro tip: Look at the price sticker. In the bottom right corner I believe, you'll see the date and time the sticker was printed. That has helped me avoid days old king cakes from Rouse's many times.

Mechs's w/bavarian cream in New Iberia. But I've never had Dong Phuong (sp) or Randazzo's. Rouse's is hot garbage IMO.

Tried a La Petit Sofie king cake this weekend. While not traditional, it’s insanely good.
