Thanks, I appreciate the tips on the bench program. I will look into it. Hope you reach your goals. Just keep grinding!

A few off the top of my head:

1) maintain all 1RM since have incorporated more running in training
2) string together ring MU again after coming over top almost two years again and near miss of major shoulder injury
3) 10 unbroken strict HSPU
4) 225 lb for 5x5 on BS, FS, and BP
5) sub 24 min 5K (2020 best was 24:21 min)
6) equipment goal of bolstering garage gym with Oly bar, bumper plates, and several dbs
7) more mobility training
8) complete the 30-day yoga challenge with the girlfriend

My only real goals for the year is to be more consistent with my running and weight training. The race and lifting PBs will come as a result of that. I have just had trouble staying consistent for a full year for the past 4-5 years. My goal is basically just no fewer than 5 runs and 3 weight training sessions per week for the entire year.

2021 Goals:
Squat 400, current max 365
Bench 285, current max ?
Deadlift not that concerned due to finger issue. Effects my grip.

10k PR. Currently at 47:26. Maybe make the commitment to train for another half or full marathon.

To lean out some more. I’ve been at 205 for a while now. I’ve gotten stronger, but I want to keep leaning out. My gym is starting an accountability group. We’ll have weigh ins and everything.

I would like to get back under 18 for 5k and just see what else I can do with a strong year of running.

315 bench, 405 squat, 500 deadlift
25 min 5k
10-12% BF

May trade out deadlift for something else like OHP 225 or bent over for 315

Slim down while working back up to my maxes from 2018. Just started a new gym last week and did a full week this week. I've only been doing some dumbbell work at home since March. It's good to get back in and move some weight, especially with the barbell.

This week:

Bench 225, max was 250 (PR some years back before an injury was 285)

Squat 275, PR in 2019 was 350

Haven't done deadlift yet, PR in 2019 was 365

Weigh 188 and want to get down to between 155-165.
