Rocky the Rockefeller Christmas tree owl has been released back into the wild

When the Rockefeller Center tree was cut down in upstate NY there was a little Northern Saw-whet owl that made the trip with the tree. He was found and taken to the Ravensbeard Wildlife Center for rehab because he went 4 days without food or water. He was released back into the wild today. The picture is when he got to the rehab center and the link below is to the Youtube video of his release. I would like to think the pause he took before flying away was to say I am not scared I know you helped me. Thanks.

Hopefully they released him where he came from and not just from the observation deck of the Empire State Building like a bunch of assholes

They should probably release that god awful tree back Into the wild as well.
