What happens if Notre Dame and Alabama run the table, then "Covid" out of their CCG's?

Neither team , at the moment, has anything to gain, especially ND, to play in their respective conference championship game.

So, what if they suspiciously have a bunch of positive Covid cases and have to "postpone"?
What does the CFP committee do?

They'll be in the playoffs.

Any other brain busters you got?

Bama would probably go over Florida. Better record, largely the same schedule, and wrecked the team that beat them.

Notre Dame and Clemson probably both get in

I don’t know what the committee will do, but I already have a few response thread topics drafted if this happens.

Sorry to say this season is a foregone conclusion. The CFP will be Bama, ND, Ohio State, Clemson. So much for parity, just more of the same

The question is what would they do with Clemson and Florida? Clemson would probably be alright, Florida would get screwed.

Since when has not playing in the conference championship game stopped Alabama or Notre Dame?

You could argue neither team has anything to gain by playing any game until the playoffs. Should they shut their season down until January?

I would argue Clemson had their chance. TAMU could arguably have a better argument them Clemson

Does it really matter? Leave it up to BAMA fans to believe that any title won this year in college means anything.

Any title in college football this year means/is worth absolutely zero no matter who wins it.

Waaaaahhhhhh....I'm sure you'd say the same if LLLSU wasn't in 18th place in the SEC.

Let everyone in some sort of tournament, Kansas, Illanoy,Nebraska,Vandy etc all battle it out for best of the shite teams.
