Keanu seems like one of the coolest guys in Hollywood but you never hear about it because he doesn't pay a PR team to try and convince us of it

We hear about Keanu being great all the time. Those videos of the rerouted plane and van trip that went viral . Every time he does press for a movie, the interviewers make a point of saying how great he is. When he auctioned off a zoom call with him in June.

Best thing going in Bogus Journey. Did Station make an appearance?

I enjoyed it more than I expected. Honestly, Bill and Ted's daughters held their own too, enough that I'd probably check them out if they ever did a spinoff movie.

It is a movie that just wants to be fun - and kind . . . and it is. My 14 year old son has seen the previous movies many times (even the Universal Studios show two years ago before it shut down) and loved it. It is far better than I thought it would be.

It's a most audacious family movie and a most excellent adventure of two pretty good dudes just wanting to unite (and now save) the world.

I really enjoyed it.
Obviously, nostalgia plays a big part since i grew up on Bill and Ted and watched the 1st 2 movies religiously.

There are obvious poorly done moments. (Music not matching the instrument playing.. etc)

But, it was pretty much done the same way as the first 2. So they probably tried to match that inconsistency on purpose.

And Station is referenced but if I remember correctly they picked him/them up in heaven, so it was already long dead. Difficult to bring Station back.

I wished there was a more ziggy piggy/waterslide moment but that's just me.

I read stories like this about Keanu all the time. He is so down to Earth.

It was much better than it has any right to be and though it had some dead spots had me smiling quite a bit. Their daughters were perfect casting and I think Samara Weaving is going to end up breaking out big at some point.

The only thing I thought was odd was that the actresses they recast their wives with were clearly 10-15 years younger than them. I get that they recast them from Adventure to Bogus Journey so a third recast could kinda sorta be like how the kids are always different in the Vacation movies but the age gap was waaaay too noticeable.

Just finished it, and it was heinous.

Only marginally better than Bogus Journey.

The world never deserved Keanu Reeves or Mister Rogers.

Did Bill and Ted become a Top 10 Trilogy with this?

Yup.

I don’t remember being a big fan of the other two, and this movie didn’t help that. I found myself uninterested at a very early point in the movie. I finished it, but I was unimpressed, even with my low expectations.

Reading this thread really raised my expectations ... but sadly I wished it wouldn’t have ... it wasn’t that great. Wasn’t that good either.

No matter what , I was waiting for an unexpected ending song to deliver at the end. That never happened. It was pretty lame ending compared to Bogus Journey. Bogus Journey went out with a bang and exactly as Rufus came back to ensure.

I liked Bogus Journey much better, and the final performance and song and credits solidified the ending. That song was supposed to unite the world. It did in the 2nd movie as it was broadcast worldwide. And it was a cool memorable song. Plus all the newspaper headlines added in.

That didn’t happen in this movie.

I always loved Bill and Ted. But this movie wasn’t special IMO.

Movie was most non non non non non heinous.

I wanted to love this so much, as the first two movies are epic to me (see sig quote).

However, this movie was quite awful.

The ending of Bogus Journey should have been the end. What a great song (God Gave Rock & Roll To You) to end it on.

This movie ended with a complete farce of a song and totally fricked up the fact that Rock & Roll saved humanity.

Once again proving that 2020 sucks in comparison to the late 80s/early 90s.

My aunt (no pics) was in the movie and got to know him a bit. She said he was a very nice guy and tried she tried her damndest to get him to come out to our family Thanksgiving dinner but he had other plans. Would have been cool, though.
