Mixing grass seed ok?

I bought a new construction house where the contractor put “contractor mix” grass seed down. It’s obviously not amazing, but the yards I have seen where it grows in are bright green in color. I went ahead and bought some Bermuda sod for the yard after closing. I’ve noticed (3 weeks after putting down sod) that some of the original contractor grass seed has popped through the sod, intermittently. Are there any issues or considerations for this situation?

Can you tell what kind of grass it is?
Since we are getting into fall/winter I wouldn’t do a ton to it. If it were me I’d wait until the late spring or early summer to hit it lightly with some Celsius.
I wouldn’t hit fresh sod with pre-emerg or go too heavy in the spring with post emerg.
Someone else might chime in and be able to tell you if waiting till spring is long enough for the root system to take anymore punishment.
