I woke up this morning and this reminds me of how I felt during the Curley days

Apathy amongst fans, players, and coaches. No one seems to give a shite and the expectation is a piss poor performance.

We haven’t played a decent team yet. If we were 5-0 showing effort and improvement I’d feel different even in Covid world.

Maybe. I was emotionally invested throughout the Hallman, Archer etc days. Maybe it was the season and/or student tickets but I got excited for every game. This year is meh across all sports. Just difficult to get excited for games with no fans, questionable if they will even be played, and multiple player sit outs. COVID and the Karen’s have ruined fun this year and maybe next.

Yeah. Because this year is EXACTLY like the years in the 90s

Pandemic
Players opting out
No spring evaluations and trainings
Zoom meetings for practices in the fall
Cancelled games

Makes total sense

95% of the college football world has checked out. Fans, coaches, players. That’s the reality of it. For you to suggest that this season is the same as any before is ludicrous

Very similar feelings. A mix of disappointment and apathy has set in. On and off the field

I sometimes thank Curley, as the Hallman error is the reason for our season tickets. A group of us were able to get 12 tickets together in the SEZ by the time he was done, with no TAF fees (only a couple of us remain).
