Why would Gee out and not Langlois?

Just think about that for a second, we literally just offered Langlois over Gilbert a month ago, why suddenly would we push him out when we offer Gilbert?

He's not the guy in danger of losing a spot

Does this offer mean that LSU is likely to take Malik Nabors?

I have to assume this comes from people who don't really follow recruiting very closely and just look at the player ratings on 247.

What's even more strange is waiting till after sage and davis got on board.

I'd love to know the reason why

Some of these guys seem pretty versatile, though. How many are actually true safeties that definitely won't be able to play nickel or corner? We have 6 DB commits and obviously they might not all sign, but couldn't 4 of them play either corner or nickel?

Ohh I agree that a few can play nickel.

Just weird they waited this long to offer Gilbert.
Maybe they were waiting to see him in games this year

Or Lb or the modern version of the 3rd LB. Ryan is the only one I see really being able to play CB straight up. Meanwhile the rage in college football defensively is the S/LB hybrid that allows more versatility in coverage and attacking the line. This a spot where Gee, Davis and perhaps Gilbert can be projected. I highly doubt all 5 S prospects make it to signing but I can see how they could all be projected as fits in a 4-2-5

Langlois
Can he play corner? Didn't someone on here a while back say he locked Keon Coleman down like he was in Alcatraz? Just Curious
