TMZ article

quote:

Carly-Faith Davis was diagnosed back in May with Retinoblastoma -- a disease that caused a tumor to form behind her left eye which required the eye to be surgically removed. Carly-Faith -- who now has a custom prosthetic eye -- has recovered well and tests show the cancerous threat is gone!

This is great news, especially with all of the crap that the Davis had to wade through this year. Davis was a true leader with the BLM stuff, keeping the conflicts in-house and now dealing with his family health issues privately, when others would use it as an excuse to take off or not be their best. Davis truly is a “Child of God”

Dude deserves this. Having a daughter of my own I know this is a huge weight lifted off his shoulders. So very happy for them both.

I’m sad to admit this but I had no idea he or his family was even dealing with that. What a testament to his leadership. We’re extremely lucky to have him leading the defense and team.

I know what it’s like to get the news that your young daughter is cancer free....brings tears to my eyes just thinking about it. Good for him. He epitomizes what it means to be a Saint.

I honestly didn’t know either. Glad to find out about it after a cancer free news though. Hoping for rest of her future it staying that way.
