I wouldn't categorize SVP-G recruitment as a "big miss". He was never signing with LSU and made it clearly known that he wanted to leave the State. He committed to Georgia in August and never wavered on his decision. Even with late interest from ALA and FLA, SVP-G felt at home with UGA and bought into what Kirby was selling. Can't miss on a kid that you have no chance in signing. LSU could certainly use him right now but it was never gonna happen. I'm glad he didn't leave LSU hanging until the last minute like other recruits have done in the past. Regarding the OL, I concur with others that we REALLY, REALLY need quality "road graders" in the trenches and depth.
