The one thing I don’t get about cable chord cutting is even with paying for internet and internet cable package (Hulu live or YouTube TV)

It’s still pretty much the same price

This is some revisionist bs right here.

I've never understood it either, which is why we've never had more than Netflix since we dropped cable/satellite 4 years ago. Pretty much everything we watch is on network television anyway, so there's no need to have Hulu or YouTube TV.

Our fios cable package + internet is 79.99 a month
I don’t think that is all that crazy

I had internet before dropping cable, so that price isn't relevant, and Youtubetv is a lot cheaper than AT&T uverse used to be.

"Cord cutting" isn't really a good term though unless you are moving to strictly antenna.

I gotcha
I guess for me it isn’t
My cable + internet is 89.99
If i did internet (49.99) + YT TV or Hulu Live both are pretty similar in price

NFL Preseason HOF games have had 11 million plus viewers in the past ( 2010 & 15).

The biggest threat to NFL ratings are over saturation with games now available on Sunday afternoon, Sunday night, Monday & Thursday .

Also, no one outside of tampa/st.pete give a shite about the Rays.

It was a bad match up in terms of tv ratings. I think Houston makes it, it does well, not great, but isn't bottoming out.

If the Dodgers can't win this, they never will. It was a gift handed to them.

There’d be a lot better ratings if it were Dodgers Astros. Lots of people would tune in to watch the “villains” of the MLB.

Dodgers : $230 Million dollar payroll
Tampa : $72 Million.

Enjoy your ring, Kershaw.
