But muh polls, he was down in 2016 and won

You are quite dense. He had a 10% chance to win by most polls. He showed that polls are flawed. Why are they accurate now?

I live 30 miles east of Atlanta. Feels pretty much like it's Trump country here. Yeah, I saw a few Biden signs (six in total) driving around between Atlanta and Athens Friday. I do a good bit if construction up near Lake Lanier, Cumming, Gainesville (yeah we have a town named that in Georgia too), and plenty of other places around the Metro area. Fulton, Cobb, and Dekalb counties are heavily Democrat - that's not a surprise. My county of Gwinnett still has a red flavor to it, but it is becoming a bit closer to purple as the lib's move into the area rather than staying closer to Atlanta itself. By the time you get to Hall, Forsyth, and Cherokee counties the blue thins out significantly.

Yeah, Atlanta is freaking big, but the state of Georgia hasn't lost it's sense of self to Atlanta to the degree that the state of New York has allowed themselves to be run by NYC.
