Jacmel Inn in Hammond... was thinking it’s worth the drive?

The reviews are great. Looks like a great date night spot and worth a venture out. What’s good there, based on the reviews everything looks amazing. This spot doesn’t get much press but I’m kinda wanting to try it for a splurge!

It’s a very nice dinner. Hammond has some hidden gems out there for nice dinner spots

Always solid, though haven’t been in a few years. Great spot for a date, very beautiful place.

Thought the new pizza place y’all have was supposed to be good...

Oh yeah, I enjoyed it. Certainly wouldn’t make a special trip. Just avoid Blackend Brew at all cost

Been many times. I would seriously suggest waiting until the temps cool off just a little and getting a table on the patio. A late October night out there is pretty nice. Inside is nice also, but a real nice dinner outside on a cool evening is not something you can get in many places.

Strongly disagree, Hammond absolutely punches above it's weight class for food.

I had a good time at 113 a while back.

It’s a solid choice for a nice dinner in Hammond. My wife and I eat there a few times a year. I’ve always had a great meal there.
I agree on the patio area in the fall. Very nice setup when temps get more comfortable.

Wow. Terrible take. Other than Olive Garden where do you dine in the Mecca of culinary arts?

The bar area with the fireplace is a fantastic place for a martini on a cool evening.

no doubt
i moved to hammond in 2006 and the only decent food was brady's and lee's. it's exponentially better now
i dislike the food at jacmel (YMMV), but the setting and atmosphere is fantastic. great, great date place

Food is very good, cozy bar, great patio. Checkout Nuvolari's by the lakefront in Mandeville. Same owners, and similar ambiance.
