I think both Turner and Sabonis can easily fit what D’Antoni does. He’s pretty adaptable. And both have skills that he would find appealing.

I agree with most of this. I'm not sure how much the Bulls would like it, though.

Detroit has a lot of cap space and I believe they have been rumored to want Lonzo or at least be interested. I'm not sure how much they value #7 compared to Lonzo but they wouldn't have to worry about paying him and it may turn out to be a good pairing with Blake Griffin. Maybe if we throw in 2 seconds or a protected first that turns into 2 2nds like Cleveland's it could get it done.

Just was scrolling around and I realized aagin on draft night we traded:

4,57, and Solomon Hill's contract for

8,17,35, and 2 2nd rd picks. Wow really was a great trade.

That was a great trade and one we didn't see coming at all.

At its most basic level, it was a trade of:

1) Darius Garland (who was the popular pick on this board at #4)

for

2) Hayes, NAW, and Didi

Yeah, that was a good trade.

I mean at the most basic we got nothing to get rid of Solomon Hill which was enough for me haha.

Whoever my down vote fan is, thank you, you are the reason I get up in the morning!

I think it's a good trade if Detroit is interested. Lonzo to the Knicks could possibly bring a rotation player back like Elfrid Payton. Any trade of Lonzo that brings back a top 10 pick and a rotation player is good in my book. I don't want to be the team that overpays him.

Maybe the most value would be if Phoenix wants him. Rubio + #10 or Bridges. Rubio plugs a lot of holes and probably helps Jrue like Rondo did.

I don't know if Rubio would be the best pick up considering he will get 17mil. Bridges and #10 would be interesting. Rose is due 7 mil next year but if we can make the trade I think we could give him a good deal for a few years.

Rubio would be a good piece next to Jrue but I'm not sure it would be the most effective with whatever cap left to fill out the roster.

One of the most overrated players coming into the NBA in his class.

Plus the cap space for Redick/Favors (whichever one you want to count)

De'Andre Hunter not Garland.
Garland went 5.

He’s speculating that we would have taken Garland.

Griff was apparently high on culver. Could have been him at 4, not Garland
