Idaho first week of Oct?

Wife (no pics) is finishing a travel nurse assignment and wants to take a quick getaway to Idaho for about 4 days October 6-10.
She’s done a lot of research already herself but this board never lets me down. Any recommendations on must sees, or must dos for a Tuesday-Saturday trip? She prefers hiking and just coming back to a cabin or quaint hotel and keeping it low key. Cool small towns are also a plus.

Redfish Lake is awesome in Stanley. LINK
Stayed here many years ago, so I cant give current updates on accommodations. The lake and hiking were great. Would love to go back.

Stanley is gorgeous
The entire valley is gorgeous.
