This is a bogus argument for any position except punter, kicker, RB and QB. At these positions a great player could end up sitting the bench (Joe Burrow, for example). But at any other position a great player is on the field. Look at LSU's DBs. There was one year that Ron Brooks could not start, and he was an NFL player, but he wasn't a great one. Kristian Fulton starts for every college football team, every year, for all of history.

Covid is helping Miami out alot. Most of the south fl kids didnt take visits this summer. If Miami doesn't win this year those kids will look elsewhere.
