Auburn has consistently been a top 10 program under Gus. That is more than “solid”

Many Auburn fans would even disagree with you. Just sayin'.

Not really. They’ve pretty much just been a “solid” program since 2013.

They are one player away at the most important position on the field. Just like LSU was. They are handicapped by Gus’ offense. Just like LSU was with Les. Still won a bunch of games and a natty. Just like LSU. Great tradition. Just like LSU. They always have great players and are an NFL pipeline. Just like LSU. LSU is rolling obviously and are on a different level at the moment but we can agree to disagree on Auburn simply being a solid program.

I mean from 2012 through 2018 LSU was “just solid” as well. We weren’t winning any hardware, just like auburn. We weren’t a real playoff threat, just like auburn. We were a good team that won games against the weaker opponents and struggled against the teams with equal or better talent, just like Auburn.

I don’t know how you describe that as anything but “just solid”

Auburn is a rollercoaster under Gus. LSU has won 3 Natty's and played for another. Different level...

Auburn won one, lost one, and would have played for another if the current system was in place.

Well now we are. Between 2014 and 2018 we were most definitely not on a different level. We were basically in the same boat until last year
