Sgammo has none left of 9mm and .223.

Freedommunitions has 9mm for $24/box. I use to pay $10 and just a couple months ago it was $13.

$620 for a case of .223 at FM.

Glad I have a good stock remaining.

Very close friend how owns a gun store was telling me that the Remington Arms plant in oxford is running at capacity and produces 3,500,000 round of 9mm daily.

Their current backlog is 13 months

Glad I decided to pick up another 1K of 9mm and .223 before the shelves went bare. Paid more than I usually do, but boo-lets are more valuable than the money I spent on them right now.
ETA: Too bad the delivery truck ran off a bridge and sunk in route to my house.

I think it’s a Winchester plant

And that’s just one caliber! Americans own enough ammunition to kill everyone on the planet many times over. Staggering to think about and one of the main reasons a ground assault by a foreign nation would never succeed. Second amendment was a stroke of genius.

“Defund the Police” seems to have perhaps jumped out too far ahead and killed its own chances (albeit however small) by thus arming millions of more Americans.

I found some .223 and 5.56 at a gun shop in Memphis yesterday; I don't think they had a limit either. Anyone in the area, it is at the Riverdale/Winchester intersection right off of 385

My normal order of projectiles usually ships and gets to me within two days. My last order took 6 weeks. They said they are running around the clock and can't keep up.

Maybe, not sure. But it was a customer that works at the plant that told him that.

jchimal - not even aware of one there.

Oh, did you go to tactical guns and gear yet?

I was driving down Winchester a few weeks ago and saw it, I think it's only been there a year or so. The Gun Store is the name

I have not been to tactical yet. Might try to go by this weekend

Yep 9 and 223 were the first to go along with 300bo. Now 7.62x39 is dwindling.

While I did pick up some ammo last year when it was cheep I wish I had got more. Not so much that I fear the SHTF time is near...but going forward I fear ammo prices and availability will be in the shitter for a while.

Hearing this makes me want to hoard my 300 range rounds of 9mm! I’m afraid to even go shoot them at the range.

Also makes me think my next handgun purchase should be a different caliber. 9mm seems the most popular.

Get some ammo dummy rounds and practice dry fire. Professional shooters practice dry fire more than live fire.

I now have 150 rounds of JHP plus 100 rounds of target rounds and about a 50 rounds of reloads for my 9MM.

If you look at another caliber pistol do not look for 38 special or 380. There is no ammo for them.
