Basically - are you in or out?
If you are in, what rule changes are needed, when should we draft, what should we do about the buy in, etc. Gonna have to redo the whole preseason basically. Ideally, we are keeping our normal rules and prorating what is necessary.

Hey, sorry. Last weekend ended up being crazy with a family emergency.
I will get it out on ASAP. I know we lost a week and don’t have much time.
Between this + working 12-15 hours every single day lately, I just have not had a chance to get on this. Just finished working for the day, and I will try to sneak this in tomorrow morning.

I am extremely sorry that I could not get this out in the past two weeks or so when the plans for an MLB season were underway. Even dealing with an insane workload + two family emergencies, I should have carved out the little bit of time needed to do this at the beginning of July. I did such a poor job that my only commissioner comparison is Rob Manfred.
That being said, we should try to gauge interest to see if we can pull together an auction last minute. Here a couple assumptions that I will make with the rules:
- Anything that should be prorated from 162 games to 60 games will be.I will handle the math and readjust
- We will revote on the preseason rule changes that were discussed, since the league members could be slightly different
---- Keep Saves + Holds vs. returning to just Saves
---- Buy in amount (only options will be to decrease or keep at $100, but the payout structure will remain the same but prorated)
---- Decrease the IP limit (after adjusting for prorating the IP limit of course)Stay at 3 IL spots or increase to 4 or 5 IL spots due to Covid
- We can play with a slightly smaller league this year if necessary because the player pool will be absurd
- In the event that the 60-game MLB schedule is not completed, every owner will receive a FULL REFUND
The biggest challenge will be getting a response from everyone in the next few days as well as setting up an auction no later than Wednesday, July 22nd. I will only collect payment if we get a commited number of owners (and I will obviously refund payment if necessary).
Payment info (this part has been redacted and only sent to the 11 league owners who filled out the preseason survey. Please shoot me an email at tdxxvkc@gmail.com if you would for me to forward you the email).
This email was sent to the 11 owners who also filled out the preseason survey via email (without the payment info).
Please let me know if you think of anything ASAP.

Eight responses so far, and seven are in. I turned on "see summary charts and text responses" for everyone to see the responses. I will share them in here.

- 7 people wanted to drop the buy-in to $50 (locked into $50 buy-in
- 6 want to go back to saves only, 2 wants saves + holds, 1 abstains
- 5 want 500 IP, 3 want 518.2 IP (1400 IP prorated), and 1 wants 481.1 IP (1300 IP prorated)
- 5 want to stay at 3 IL spots, 3 want 5 IL spots, 1 wants 4 IL spots
TLDR Update: It looks like we will have an auction on Wednesday night with a $50 buy in. As of now, we have nine people interested. We need a couple more.
There was a suggestion to switch from QS to wins (honestly, not a bad idea with how starters go shorter and shorter). If we can get the numbers, then we can vote on that also.

Sent another email to the other five owners. Hope this gives us enough to make it happen. I am going to go and update the league settings now (obviously we can adjust up until the auction starts).
Once we are locked into an auction date, we can try and rush the payments. Obviously, we probably need to use Venmo this year due to the lack of time. If someone does not have Venmo, then let me know, and we can figure out a solution.

Definitely don't schedule around me. My potential conflict is only 50/50 of actually happening. And even if it does, I would only miss the beginning of the auction.
