Once again, what happened to the 100 students that got infected in Tigerland?
I haven't heard one thing about their status....my bet is they are all fine and most had no symptoms at all!

Solution:
1) if you are scared, stay home.
2) if you are elderly, stay home.
3) mothers, don't take your infants to crowded places.
4) if you are sick or have underlying conditions, stay home.
5) if you believe in masks, wear one.
6) use good social distance measures where applicable.
7) otherwise, TEE IT UP and PLAY BALL!

You mean let people think for themselves? Are you insane? The government and main stream media has to make all our decisions for us.

The game on the field no it is not needed but there is so much that surrounds football that is very important. The economy surrounding college and NFL football is extremely important to the towns and cities they are in. Plenty of bars and restaurants and the people that work at them need a football season. Some places make their money for the year on those days.

I won’t disagree with your post...... makes sense. BUT.... it’s sad we as fans have zero control over that.

How's about Prof. Tripod not have class, online class, or any class this fall and not get paid? How'd he like that? Let him have a bank account epidemic and see if it feels good.......

What epidemiologist, scientist, immunologist, etc has said it will be wise to have 90k in a stadium? Seriously asking.

probably one that has some facts on how many under 40 have been hospitalized b/c of this kung flu, which is hardly any. we can't all live the rest of our lives in hiding trying to protect 80 years old from dying from the flu.

This seems like a great opportunity for a student lead experiment looking into quantifying exact how infectious COVID19 would be during a football game in tiger stadium. If they determine that the hot spots are the crowded restrooms and crowded concessions then double the number of toilets with port-a-potties and get rid of concessions and allow people to bring their own drinks and food. I suspect that being in an open air stadium crowd isn't quite as infectious as people are assuming, especially if it's humid and there is a decent amount of wind.

Yes they do. And I’m not talking about just the 60 minutes on the field. Like others have stated, there is so much that goes into a game day weekend that mom and pop shops rely on every year.

Seems like the safe move, lots of liability on the school if an outbreak occurs due to a game. Yea one year without sports will really hurt the economy but 1,000 lawsuits could really hurt the athletic/school budget.

Look at all the crap your Democrats have caused all over the country by allowing Anarchists to run wild while holding the Police back. All of the cities where there were uncontrolled riots are run by Democrats.

You are so worried about everybody else contracting some overblown virus yet you and your Democrats idiots are the very ones who fought President Trump while he was trying to control our borders. One of the main reasons the virus is so widespread is we have millions of illegal aliens in our country. The normal procedure for LEGAL immigration requires a 2 week quarantine prior to entry in the US.

You stupid Mofos want to blame President Trump while you morons are the main contributor. You fricking liar.

RhineEaux, as in RINO, Republican In Name Only, you are such a snowflake!

LSU will play this fall in Tiger Stadium. Read the data. 99.8% recover. Most have mild or no symptoms. No athlete from any sport has died from Coronavirus. None!

TRUMP 2020! MAGA!!!

Geaux Tigers!!!
