A bit off topic but why do the zealots not want resource officers at the schools? Do they somehow think they’ll be safer with a cop at school?

I heard some of the local sports radio jock sniffers talking this AM about how BLM on the basketball courts is not really much more that what is already done while strongly implying they support BLM.

No you bring about change by listening and complying with police officer orders and accepting the people that choose not to are putting their lives on the line.
You bring about change by prosecuting police officers that deserve to be prosecuted rather than covering for them.

Here’s what happens: one goes into police work with the best of intentions. Then, day in day out without fail one has to deal with the worst aspects of human behavior. It runs from nothing more than disputed traffic violations up to rape, murder, cannibalism, you name it. One only sees the bad side of human behavior and begins to think all civilian/citizen/humans are nothing but bad trouble. You don’t need a sociology or psychology degree from North Texas State to figure that out.

That way, there's less opposition and slower reaction time the next time they coordinate a school shooting and start pushing their gun grab agenda even harder.
