If so, how is the fishing?

I went To flat lake last weekend and it wasn’t quite right yet. Water was flowing like crazy though, so it should be soon. But too much black water with the quick fall in depth

Anyone have any reports on sorrel and pigeon yet?

I always use gauge at Morgan city for flat lake(Just under 6 this last weekend). 4.5 ft or below and it’s pedal to the medal time

Usually sorrel and pigeon heat up a little before then, so was seeing if anyone went

Hadn’t fished there in a hot minute, but heard someone found a shite ton of nails “strategically placed” in the pigeon parking lot. Must be about to turn on.

Interesting.

I’m thinking these next two weeks the spillway is going to turn on. Can’t wait

Be quiet man make them think there are no fish and make them think the river is way way too high.

In reality it is fixing to be on.

Water's a little high for Murphy Lake. The Bayou Sorrel gauge reading in the BR Advocate has been wrong for a long time - it's been listed 2 feet higher than the actual gauge reading.

Murphy Lake area is usually hot when Sorrel gauge reading gets to 5 ft. and falling.
