Has anyone heard this band. They sound like the 80’s soundtrack of stranger things but with a better singer. Am i drunk or is this an amazing band.

They are rad as frick for sure. I love retrowave in general, and they (along with Gunship) are as good as that genre gets.
Which reminds me: if you like The Midnight, make sure you check out Gunship.

Midnight is great but definitely do yourself a favor and checkout Gunship. Give FM-84 a shot as well.

Thought I was the only person in the South that had heard of them. Love these two bands, though I would call Gunship more 80’s fantasy niorwave and The Midnight more 80’s moviewave.

The Midnight is to The Breakfast Club as Gunship is to The Lost Boys as Carpenter Brut is to Friday the 13th. Three very different sounds.

Their new single Deep Blue is another great song. Can't wait till this album drops July 10th.
