Aside from the super popular ones that everyone had to read growing up, any recommendations for books along the line of Fahrenheit 451 that aren’t quite as popular?

Wool by Hugh Howey.

Apparently there are sequels but I’ve never read them. I thought Wool was a one off years ago when I read it.. it’s interesting.

Camp of the Saints although it's becoming more present than future.

If things continue the way they are, purchasing this book may contribute to your future unperson status. That said, yes, Camp of the Saints
For a really funny yet melancholy take, set in Louisiana, Love in the Ruins by Walker Percy is great. Possibly an unperson book, too, but probably too nuanced for the current Puritans to really grasp.

I loved BNW and and plan to read We soon. I need to finish the Dark Tower series first. The DT series kind of fits what you want as well, but it's not totally centered around a dystopian future.
