Cocodrie Charter/Lodge Recommendation?

Looking for a day/2 trout/red w overnight accommodations for a friend n Shreveport.... out to Cocodrie area.
I have no clue down there... any recommendations?
Also realize I could search for such.... but looking for current recs

Capt Josh Ellender, Ellender charters. Been fishing with him for years, great guy that will do everything he can to put u on fish. Has a camp at his dock but his connections with several others in area.

I can second josh. Grew up with him, class act. Been hammering the fish lately even with the bad weather the last week or so

Been fishing with Josh for about 7 years now, usually 2-3 times a year. He's a class act and can find the fish. His new Blackjack is awesome to fish out of too. Give him a call if you want to book soon because he gets filled up pretty quick. He also can recommend a few places for you to stay. We went a few weeks ago and hammered the trout. Average size 15-16".
