Saw where he didn’t get a jersey number.

He’s not on the team, so he doesn’t have a jersey number. He hasn’t been signed. He may or may not get the last spot in the class.

I thought he would qualify automatically now since ACT requirement was waived?

We have one QB who has more experience than 3 college practices. We may look to help that situation first, then accept a grayshirt from him.

What transfer QBs are out there in the portal? I haven't seen any that I would want lining up behind center next year.

I hope to God Brennen doesn't go down at any point this season. Really need an experienced backup in case.

I’d really try to grey-shirt him if possible and hold that last spot open in case you need a QB. I would think the only way he gets the spot is if he commits to playing OL instead of DL from the start.

Do you not understand how complex this system is now? A transfer will not help. Let’s stick with our guys and develop.

I'm 10 miles from haynesville. Know people who know him. I've seen him play. Potential. But needs alot of work. Class A league. Bigger than all he went up against. Will take alot.of work and dedication to.play in SEC. Maybe worth a scholly.

Definitely a project type prospect but Haynesville is one of the top programs in the state and that program is not new to putting out college prospects. They might be 1A but they play a tough schedule filled with larger schools every year. Being from Haynesville is in no way a negative on him.

Guys, some of the best players in history came from small schools. Walter Payton was in the band at Columbia High. Brett Favre played in Kiln Nd. Jerry Rice is from nowhere, Archie Manning from Drew Ms, Deuce from Morton High.....not exactly state champs every year.

And also, I've been following CamRon. Apparently, his grades were not great or so some say. He finished on the honor roll. He obviously lives LSU and has a lot of physical tools. Who better to give the final spot too. He personifies everything I'd want in a player.
