Also, since when did kids working at Pizza Hut become knowledgeable about poisoning someone’s pie? You couldn’t just pull out your smart phone and look up how to go about making someone sick.
I guess if you have a shitload of spoiled ingredients laying around, you could try that. Then the pizza would taste like shite. If you fool around with intentionally food poisoning someone, you risk killing them, and have a higher likelihood that nothing at all happens. No way these amateurs knew how to make someone sick for 24 hours.

First it was Flu, then it was food poisoning...maybe it was just late night gambling and drinking?
The food poisoning angle has been used by athletes in enemy territory for decades.
Fans of the opposing team gave me food poisoning with their delivery. It's actually an urban legend at this point, it's been used by other athletes who had crap games because they were hungover.
First off, you think Michael Jordan ordered the Pizza under the name Michael Jordan during a playoff series?

You can get food poisoning simply from someone going to the bathroom and not washing their hands before handling your food. If someone is sick and getting bacteria where all the food is prepared, that can do it too. Jordan either had a stomach bug or he partied a little too hard the night before. Either is plausible, but at this point who really cares?

I mean why is this guy proud 2 people delivered the pizza. I have ordered pizza a ton of times and never had a 2nd person at the door
According to him, he was the manager on duty that night, he was not the delivery driver. He simply made the driver take him to the hotel to drop off the pizza. The jist of the story was that he was personally delivering the pizza to ensure that none of the other guys screwed with it.

I'm shocked they gave enough info in the order that Pizza Hut could have known it was going to MJ.
They didn't. According to this guy, an order came in late at night for delivery to this particular hotel. Everyone in Salt Lake knew what hotel the Bulls were staying in. It wasn't a huge secret. According to him, the hotel was locked down with security and they had to show their ID to get in the building. It wasn't until they were walking down the hall with the pizza that they had an idea that it might be for MJ. According to him, they came across a couple guys in the hall (I think he said they were players) and they wanted to know where they were going with the pizza. After telling them the room number the guys were like "don't nobody touch this pizza" because they knew that was Micheal's room.

My caring at this point stems from the fact that I think MJ is full of shite. Multiple people have come back at him after this documentary and the fanboys want you to think they are all liars.
Michael is bullshitting everyone, and the documentary was a nice trip down memory lane, but also reinforces my thoughts that he is a prick.

MJ crushing a whole pizza the night before a finals game. Players eat like shite or whatever they want on reg season roadtrips but everyone’s in the zone come playoff time and there’s more time to eat right versus city and hotel hopping during back to backs. I’ve heard stories of people eating crazy pregame meals but a guy as locked in and fiercely competitive as MJ smashing a whole pizza the night before a game doesn’t seem like an MJ thing.
So you reject this but believe this:

Jordan was hungover as hell.
End of fricking story.
Food service industry does not work this way.

I've worked in enough restaurants to know no one fricked with that pizza.
