Why do people keep saying "bigly" when the President is actually saying "big league"?

I assume people are just using it as a blue collar way of identifying with #MAGA or #KAGA.
Either way doesn't bother me, I'm just curious.

It’s just a fun thing to say IMO. Trump is even in on it. You can notice him pronouncing it more like “bigly” since it was first noticed and talked about. In 2015 I feel like he just said “big league” quickly together but now it’s morphed cause it’s fun.

I feel like it’s one of the few things that conservatives and liberals both have a good time with.

I agree with this. It's part of the culture now and has taken on a life of its own. Kinda like when people say "for all intensive purposes" or "day in age".

This. That's why Pepe the Frog is so popular with the right.

You come across like the obnoxious little brother of an otherwise cool person to hang with. Like you bring nothing to the party but trite foolish verbiage.

Bigly is one of those odd situations where a word or phrase has transcended its origin and has assumed a magical cult-like status.
