Nothing that Snyder had done in the DCEU has me at all excited that this will be at all watchable much less good. His entire run was a jumbled mess that did not at all resemble the bright and optimistic universe that is DC, especially one centered around Superman.

He had no concept oh how the DCMV worked. It is liked he skimmed over Dark Knight Returns, saw a picture of Darkseid, and went from there.

This cut is going to suck, and it is going to suck the fun that films like Shazam and Aquaman injected into the DCEU right out. I'm not sure the build to Darkseid is worth that. He had no vision. He had no understanding of the characters. He had no understanding of the universe. Why are you giving him $30 million dollars and the reigns of the universe again?

And in the extremely thin chance this thing is interesting... you lost Afleck, you seemingly lost Cavill, and Miller is probably untouchable after he beat up that woman, and you can't finish the thing with 60% of your team re-cast, and fans are left with a giant "frick you here is what we should have given you five years ago and didnt."

I found it to be awful, how did you enjoy it?

It was a throwback to 80's and 90's camp fantasy/action films like Flash Gordon.

If you take it as a serious superhero film, you won't like it.

I think that's DC's problem, nobody takes their "films" seriously.

I hope so, I really liked Affleck as Batman and I want to see what Snyder's version of JL would have looked like.

My gripe with Aquaman is that the story meandered too long. Momoa was a great cast though, I overall think they did a great job casting Justice League.

they're not as rich and compelling as the MCU

There are people on this board who believe the MCU is both rich and compelling.

I can't argue with that take.

For this biker/wrestler/king version, I agree.

He def hit some home runs with Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, and Aquaman. I don't think that we saw enough (or will get the chance to see much more) of Flash and Cyborg to see if they were money or not. Aquaman and Wonder Woman didn't really shine until their films came out. I think Cavill and Affleck showed that they weren't the problem. They made the best from what was handed to them.

No.

Snyder is still a hack that cannot write a compelling story or even convey the story in a competent way that gets people emotionally invested. He just moves from picture to picture to and screen to screen and expects the audience to just understand what he's trying to say and doesn't even make it easy for them.

He doesn't even understand or respect the source material of the characters. He just tried to fit a one size fits all method on all of the characters. Dark and Gritty may work for Batman but it does not work for Superman.

There's a reason why they had Snyder kicked off and had Whedon do reshoots.

The "Snyder Cut" of Justice League is just throwing crap at the wall to see what sticks. I'll check it out mostly to see Batfleck one last time and see how Henry Cavill looks in the black suit but I will have very low expectations and if I like it, I'll definitely post about it here.

I can’t wait until it’s released and it’s even worse than what we already have

It more than likely will reinforce why Snyder was replaced by Whedon and Whedon did the best he could to his credit but he just couldn't fix the product that Snyder made.

Snyder is good on visuals but he's just not a good storyteller and that is 90% of what makes a good movie.

I don't give a shite. I like the Snyderverse. Finally got a badass representation of Batman on screen. Batfleck actually looked like he could kick some arse and not a 175# guy in 30 lbs of foam. BvS had the best action/fight scene in any superhero movie (Batman saves Martha).

I'd like to see more.

Every single bit of nonsense you spit about films confirms to me you have zero taste.

Oh, you put it in your brain then.
That’s what I did wrong.
