So, when do we, as a sovereign people, make the determination that our future independence is more important than cheap goods from Walmart and inexpensive produce harvested by illegals?
How is it possible that it's even legal for our elected Representatives to accept money, even indirectly, from foreign governments.

Our federal government is so mired in corruption and corporate influence that it would be nearly impossible to cleanup without evacuating a 3 square mile area around the nation's Capitol building and starting new with a clean slate. We could probably form a committee of patriots outside of the D.C. area to vet some of the existing politicians and bureaucrats for re entry but that may be too exhaustive a proposition to complete.
