Pops is good, but can't beat the Olde Tyme special of the day price

Excellent fried shrimp. I am a huge fan of their tartar sauce.

If talking about the Hut (haven't been to downtown in years), the service and food is very good.

I recommend Bambi's Massage on south Cherry.

It's pretty decent. I've never been to the one downtown.
Cafe Bella in the Oil Center is a good one I haven't seen mentioned much here.

I forgot about them. Their OG Bella Figura location (where Marcello’s on Kal Saloom is now) was very successful before they relocated to the City Club. That move screwed them financially . Hopefully they’re doing well in the oil center

Oddly, I wasn’t that big a fan of Bella Figura. Love Marcello’s, though. Maybe my pallate as a younger buck wasn’t refined enough for Bella Figura back then.

Marcellos is definitely better without a doubt. Maybe I was too young of a buck and easily impressed but I remember the first Bella figura being excellent but fell off with each successive move. They’re on location/ move #4 right now

I’ve never tried any of their other dishes, but I recently discovered that Rachael’s Cafe on Kaliste Saloom makes one of the best Chicken Fried Steaks I’ve ever had. Crispy breading that doesn’t fall apart, flavorful white gravy. I started loving CFS when I’d get the Wed. special at Dempsey’s in BR, and of all the places I’ve tried around the state, Rachael’s is the only place that comes close (and does it better).

Has anyone eaten from La Pizzaria? I see it shared on Facebook often. Today's picture was this:

Looks good to me. The post says they bake their own pita.

Look, I'm not trying to jump on the downvote grenade for that guy, but Judice Inn is indeed overrated by some.

Don't get me wrong, I love their burgers. I think they're great. That said, they're nothing special.

I think generation that grew up with soda shops really love the place more than anyone else. Judice Inn kept its same theme throughout the years. They stayed true to that ideal. The burgers are simple, fresh, and good and reflective of that era. The locale is historic.

That said, I'm not going to go out of my way to get Judice burger when Sonic and 5 Guys puts out a similar product.

Are the burgers good? Absolutely. Overrated? Yeah. Probably. They are hyped up by an older generation who can taste their childhood with every bite.

I was OK w/ your post until this part. Ridiculous, not even in the same ballpark. Both Sonic and 5 Guys are weaker than Whataburger. 5 Guys is WAY overpriced, they throw so much stuff on the burger so you don't know it's just Sonic. I don't need to knight for Judice Inn, they stand on their own.

If you are from out of town please try Judice Inn and don't listen to the haters, it's great.

Well, I’ll have to give it a try. I’ve always loved Hub City Diner’s chicken fried steak

I’ll have to check that out at Hub City Diner, I haven’t been there in decades.
