Genie 2 or regular genie free upgrade

Anybody here have experience with either? I'm up for a free upgrade. We got att fiber in the hood a couple of years ago. I will end up cutting the cord, but I'm wondering if anybody here has experience with either of these directv upgrades. TIA

We have the genie 2 and like them, we have had directv for ever and I am still grandfathered in a $65 package that gets everything so it hasn’t made sense to cut the cord.
