St John Virgin Islands

There's only one place that could be considered all-inclusive. The Westin. I would rent a place and eat local. It's not a big island and there are some very good restaurants on the island still (RIP Zozo's).

You can ferry to the BVI or charter a day trip. I recommend Rockhoppin. Tell midget captain Steve that King Bill recommended you to them. You can rent your jeep on the island and head over to Coral Bay and Skinny Legs for a short trip and lunch.

ETA: I'd rent a condo at Grande Bay and stay right in Cruz Bay. You can walk to a ton of stuff and stagger home from Beach Bar or Joe's Rum Hut at night without having to get behind the wheel.

Thank you for all of the info! Staying in Cruz Bay sounds ideal to be able to walk places. Definitely going to check into Rockhoppin charter!

We had to cancel our trip in March due to Corona, but check before y'all book because I know the BVIs are still closed to non residents currently. It'll eventually lift though.

I’m pretty sure the USVI’s open to tourists on June 1. Also, on May 26, all bars and restaurants can operate at 50% capacity. The government is currently requiring masks to be worn in all establishments - retail, bar, restaurant, etc.

We had to cancel a 5 day trip in April for my wife’s birthday. Looking to go back soon but I’m always nervous about going to that part of the Caribbean in the July-Sept timeframe.

As someone noted, the BVI’s are reopening at a much slower pace than USVI’s. It would be a shame to go all the way down to St John and not get a chance to shoot over to Jost (Soggy Dollar). Or have the option of visiting The Baths. But given my itch to get back down there I may just have to forego my favorite bar on earth but still visit one of my favorite places (St John) on earth,
